Mate Hackers at [https://metamate.cc Meta Mate] on a mission to spread Mate Culture between Brasil and Berlin and Beyond. Meta Mate drinking fosters communication & understanding and we are hacking this with open source and shared economy. We can demonstrate how to mate DIY in the traditional gaucho way or in urban carbonate drinks.

Fabricio and Krithika from Meta Mate Berlin are living Matewiki's ready to share knowledge on Mate hacking. Known as the Mate Dealers from Berlin in some circles, Meta Mate annually hosts a Mate space in the Tea House at the CCC.
For the Hope 2020 the Mate circle will be hosted from the midst of the Atlantic!

Participants will have a chance to learn the basics about mate from its properties, to preparation techniques and have a chance to discuss the flavours of different mates.

Mate is more than a drink, it is a whole world with a philosophy behind it!

Over the past decade [http://www.metamate.cc Meta Mate] has been spreading the Mate from Brasil to Berlin and beyond serving the community from our space in Berlin as well as hosting Mate circles at various events

In this workshop we will discuss some of the basic mate preparation techniques and the differences between different types of Mate.

We realise that not everyone will have access to the proper equipment, and some might prefer to just sip on their bottle of Club Mate, we welcome mate drinkers in all forms!
