Mindfulness - The Link Between Stress & Virtual Perception workshop -- VIRTUAL
This workshop will be given:
Day 3: Sunday, 24-July-2022, 2:00pm - 2:30pm, Workshop B (D'Angelo 306) -- VIRTUAL
NOTE: You do NOT need to register to take this workshop -- please show up early to ensure a seat at Workshop B (D'Angelo 306).
Abstract
NOTE: THIS IS A VIRTUAL WORKSHOP, but takes place live at A New HOPE
We will explore the connection between stress and perception, sharing "practice formulas" on how to meet discomforts that we may encounter in an increasingly virtual environment. We will also engage in two short meditation practices with a focus on sound and the body. The goal is to give participants the tools to develop or enhance a meditation practice of their own, as well as sharing the science and research behind the stress phenomenon we experience.
