Book Binding workshop

Abstract

Learn how to design and create your own book from start to finish. Explore different binding techniques, paper selection and preparation, cover design and materials, basic bookbinding tools and their uses, and most importantly take part in a discussion of archival materials, documentation, and preservation.

This workshop has two parts:
Part 1: Day 3, Sunday, 17-August-2025, 11:00am - 1:00pm
Part 2: Day 3, Sunday, 17-August-2025, 2:00pm - 3:00pm

Any materials needed to participate in this workshop will be available at-cost.
Observers are welcome at no cost.
To do the hands-on portion for this workshop:
Materials Cost: $35 - $100 (depending on paper)
