HOPE_16 is Happening in 2025!

Hackers On Planet Earth (HOPE) is an annual event that happens each summer in New York City.
HOPE_16 is a THREE DAY EVENT, spanning from Friday, August 15th through Sunday, August 17th, 2025.
The event is live and in-person, at St. John's University, in Queens, New York City.
HOPE_16 will include scheduled talks, panels, workshops, keynotes, geeky vendors, food, art, concerts, performances, and much more!
As with all HOPE conferences, you can watch all of the talks for free online, live-streamed. They will also all be recorded and available online after the conference!

HOPE Scholarship Program
Even though the tickets for HOPE are as low as possible, some people -- including many students -- say they can't afford the price. Other people have offered to donate a ticket for those who can't afford to buy one.
Announcing the HOPE Scholarship -- a way that students and others who can't afford HOPE admission can attend for FREE thanks to the generosity of HOPE supporters. Here's how it works:
If you want to donate an admission to HOPE, just go to
our Scholarship page
and fill out the form. If you want to apply for a scholarship, just email
scholarship AT hope DOT net
Students should send an email message from their school email address (if possible). Mention your current academic status (school, year, and program) and write 50-200 words about why you are interested in attending HOPE_16. Non-students should send an email message briefly describing your situation and what benefits you anticipate from attending HOPE.
Livestream Information
During the event, the 3 main talk tracks will be live-streamed
